Mark and Debbie Gomes have
been involved with horses and rodeo since they were very young. Both began Jr. Rodeo in AZ at very young ages and
eventually obtained college rodeo scholarships--Mark at SWOSU and Debbie at the U of A. Mark went on to become a
World Champion Bareback Rider in 1998 and he is currently pursuing a team roping career in the PRCA. Roping
has always been a passion of Mark's, and he is blessed with the natural ability to train superb roping horses.
1M Quarter Horses began
back in 1999 with only a plot of dirt and dreams of someday breeding outstanding performance horses and roping cattle.
Today, that dream is a reality as we strive to provide athletic, intelligent, cow savvy horses with the potential to
be some of the best in the performance horse industry. Our bloodlines include Driftwood, General Dodger, Speedy II,
Poco Bueno, Doc Bar, Clabber, Colonel Freckles, Doc Quixote, Boon Bar, Doc O'Lena, King, Lucky Blanton, Orphan Drift, and
Two Eyed Jack, to name only a few.
All-around conformation and the integrity of our equine program are of
the utmost importance to us. We look forward to matching you with your next champion!
